Read this and then read it again!! I can remember about 7 or 8 years ago during a “testimony service” (anybody remember having those?), saying that I used to pray for Gods will in my life, but through my actions I was really saying I wanted God to bless my will instead. I wasn’t really living according to Gods Will but was really walking in my own selfish will. That’s called pride. I thought I knew what was best for me more than God. I couldn’t have been more wrong. It was when I surrendered my own will and became clay in the potters hand that my life has changed drastically for the better. I’ve always been a peaceful person but now I’m full of peace!! I’ve learned how to open my ears (which takes spending time with the Lord and building your relationship), so I can actually hear His voice and be guided by His Spirit. It’s a daily commitment to allowing my will to be overridden by Gods Will. Sometimes I have to let go of my own will in order to grab hold of His vision for my life. That’s not always easy but it is always well worth it. Are you spinning your wheels this morning trying to force your will into reality?? Maybe just maybe God is waiting on your surrender in order to bless your socks off!!! #speaklife
