I saw this picture that a friend of mine had posted. I love the message in it. Sometimes we are broken because of choice we made, but other times we become broken from the actions of other people. I’m so thankful that no matter who or what shattered my life God is right there picking up the broken pieces, and lovingly putting them in place and healing me at the same time. He is the glue that holds me together. The Bible says in Jeremiah 1:5 that He knit me together in my mother’s womb.

If He knit me together in the first place, then He certainly knows where all my pieces go.

If I completely surrender to Him in those moments of brokenness, He may even put me back on the Potters Wheel and mold me and make me again, making my vessel better, brighter and more beautiful than it was. As I posted a few weeks ago, when a potter takes the shards of broken clay and mixes it into the vessel he is making, that vessel is stronger than it would be without them. That process makes me think of Romans 8:28 which says that God will bring good out of everything we go through and Genesis 50:20 where Joseph is speaking to his brothers and says,

“You meant this for evil, but God meant it for good.”

Always know that God is there just waiting on you to cry out to Him so He can put you back together. He will make something beautiful from your broken pieces.

He will make something beautiful from your broken pieces.
