Today I am thankful for peace. As I looked at this picture, that’s the one word that I would use to describe it. Some people may use colorful or Autumn, but for the still water speaks of peace to my soul.
Psalm 23:2b-3a says, “He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul.” I believe that Scripture is why I have always loved being around water of any kind, but especially still waters. There, my soul senses peace, and that peace only comes from the Father above.
Your world may be swirling around you like a mighty tornado or hurricane like we had this year, but God can give you peace in the midst of that storm. Give Him full control of your life and you will sense that peace and be led to those still waters for times of refreshment!! Peace often comes through a grateful heart so praise God even in the storms of life and you will fill His peace flood your soul!
