Today I am thankful for prayer. Hebrews 4:16 says, “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” James 5:16b says,”The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” Prayer is one of our most effective weapons against the enemy. Spending time in prayer also strengthens our relationship with the Father, just as spending time with family and friends strengthens those relationships.
Philippians 4:6-7 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
