Day 7 of Thanksgiving
Today I am thankful that my hope does not lie in man or in government, but in the one true God who already knows my future. As in the days of Moses, He can rain down manna from heaven; as in the days of Elijah, He can command the ravens to feed me; as in the days of Jesus, He can sustain the multitude on 5 loaves and 2 fishes.
1 Peter 1:3-5 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
